■ International Support Activity Committee
“Volunteers Wanted!” - We need people who can visit a nearby elementary school or junior high school in Meguro City to pick up “miswritten postcards” that have been kindly collected by the students. We plan to visit schools after Feb. 20.

■ Mr. Shuzo Shiibashi passed away on Dec. 22, 2002 at the age of 75. He had worked as an auditor for Meguro UNESCO for many years. We pray his soul may rest in peace.

Members of Urasenke International hold a tea presentation in English. Chado is not only about drinking ‘bitter’ tea. It is a composite art form encompassing ceramics, pottery, flower arrangement, calligraphy, architecture, interior design, Zen philosophy, literature, cuisine, lacquer ware, various hand craft wares, etc.
